I´ve spent a long time trying to play in certain styles.Trying to emulate the musicians I love, trying to create something close to music of my peers and the current culture around us....and I think this was a mistake. I started to loose sight of melody and feeling within music, and become more preoccupied with rediculus catagorisation and stylistic comparrisons within my own writting. The more I thought about this, the more I realised that the musicians I love and listen to, are thinking the complete opposite...creating what feels good and right to them. Here is my small collection of sounds and spaces.
